A number copied from a search dashboard loses meaning quickly. Without its date range, filters, page identity, and comparison conditions, the next editor cannot tell whether it describes a durable pattern or a momentary slice.
The problem this check solves
Screenshots and isolated metrics travel easily through a team. Context does not. The result is familiar: an assistant receives “traffic is down” and is asked to refresh a page before anyone confirms which page, query, market, device, or period produced the observation.
Build the smallest useful record
