Maintenance work does not always require an edit. A page may still answer its intended question, cite functioning sources, present accurate metadata, and connect readers to useful next steps. Changing it without a specific problem introduces risk without a testable benefit.

Capture the review

Record the URL, review date, signals examined, content checks performed, known limitations, and next trigger. State “no change” as a decision supported by evidence, not as the absence of time.

Distinguish quiet from healthy

Low traffic alone does not prove the article is defective. Check indexing, demand, query fit, internal discovery, and technical health before blaming prose. Likewise, stable traffic does not excuse obsolete claims or broken reader paths.
